Project Manager

Will work with the Head of Programmes in delivering and managing projects and programmes using robust project and stakeholder engagement skills and strategies.

You will be responsible for managing and driving forward key projects across the organisation, and ensuring that effective programme administration programme/project board meetings is executed efficiently.

Project Manager

Management

* Working with the Head of Programmes and the Reform Programme Manager ensuring that programmes and projects are delivered within time, scope, budget and to an agreed standard of quality.* Perform programme administration functions to a very high standard, this will include but is not limited to -, updating and maintenance of action logs, risk registers, project plans, project initiation and closure documents as a key set of activities.* Write technical minutes to a high degree of accuracy and competency. * Ensure that projects address regulatory risk priorities and follow the policy development framework where appropriate.* Estimate resources required to achieve project goals.* Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis to ensure they are informed and supportive of projects;* Lead in post-project evaluations and present findings as required;* Trouble shoot and solve problems as and when they occur during projects;* Maintain and produce template project documentation for use more widely within the BSB;* Suggest new and innovative ways of streamlining the management of key documentation and to work with the Head of Programmes to deliver this.

Support* Support all projects and programmes in line with best practice;* Maintain a thorough understanding of the project, and programmes portfolio to enable an effective and informed point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders;

Profile

Project Manager

* Professional Project Management qualification (e. g. PMP, Prince 2 or equivalent)* Proven experience of project delivery within a professional services culture, preferably in a legal or regulatory environment* Demonstrable experience of utilising and regularly working with project management tools like action logs, project plans, risk registers and PIDS.* Practical Knowledge of MS Project* Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain good working relationships* Demonstrable experience in managing and progressing complex pieces of work, ideally experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. * Good working knowledge of risk management skills and techniques;* Able to demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in written work; * Able to provide expert advice, direction and support in the context of project management; * Relationship building and collaboration, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to work together effectively and deliver project outputs* Proven ability to identify both benefits and risks in project;
