4Site are seeking an experienced Project Director to oversee luxury refurbishment projects valued up to £20m for our client, a leading high-end residential main contractor. This is a rare opportunity for a senior professional with a proven background in high-end residential refurbishments to take a strategic leadership role managing some of London’s most exclusive property projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of one or more large-scale projects, managing every stage from pre-construction through to completion.
- You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, develop and implement strategies, and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
- Direct and manage all aspects of project delivery, ensuring compliance with client requirements, contractual obligations, and performance KPIs
- Develop and oversee project strategies, streamlining operations and driving efficiencies to optimise outcomes
- Manage and mentor project teams, including Senior Project Managers and other site leaders, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Coordinate resources, recruitment, and team structures in line with project demands, ensuring a high-performing workforce
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution
- Oversee procurement of professional services and contractors, ensuring value and quality in all appointments
- Produce accurate progress reports for both internal and external stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
- Extensive experience managing large, high-value construction projects, ideally in the luxury residential or heritage sectors
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams
- Strong commercial acumen and a strategic mindset to deliver value-driven solutions
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, programming, and compliance standards
