Project Manager - Commercial & Residential
We are seeking a Project Manager for a consultancy firm based in Central London. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering a diverse range of projects, spanning both commercial and residential sectors. You will be responsible for working closely with the client/developer taking the brief and advising on all stages of development (feasibility, design, tender and delivery). The client provides support to obtain chartership.
About the Role:
Actively Participate in the following stages of the development lifecycle:
- Appoint and manage consultant teams
- Oversee design development and ensure compliance with project briefs and budgets
- Navigate the planning process, secure planning consent and manage any appeals
- Lead the tendering process and appoint suitable main contractors
- Administer construction contracts and ensure effective site delivery
Profile
A successful Project Manager should have:
- Project Planning and Execution: Developed comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure efficient and timely project delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Built and maintained relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams to foster effective collaboration and communication.
- Risk Management: Identified and mitigated potential risks minimising project disruptions and cost overruns.
- Quality Assurance: Enforced strict quality standards and implement robust quality control measures.
- Financial Management: Monitored project budgets, tracked expenses, and ensured financial targets have been met.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager in a Consultancy firm
- Proven track record in project management within the commercial and residential sectors.
- Strong understanding of mixed-use development projects.
