Project Manager opportunity for a consultancy company in London primarily focused on fit out projects up to 2million.
About the Project manager role
Looking for a dynamic Project Manager to work across various l fit out projects in London delivering consultancy project management services. This is an opportunity to oversee fit out projects from inception to completion and reporting to the Directors of the business.
Project Manager responsibilities
* Develop pre contract project plans, briefing documents, risk registers and programmes to control the delivery of projects.
* Lead the project teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure a co-ordinates and cost-effective delivery.
* Monitor project progress and adjust project plans as necessary to maintain control throughout.
* Maintain strong communication with clients, stakeholders and project team members.
* Present regular project updates and reporting.
* Assist with project budgeting, tendering and whole project cost control (minor works only)
* Manage and control project costs.
* Ensure the controlled completion, inspection and close down of projects.
The ideal Project Manager
* Proven experience in a Project Management role within a consultancy practice, with the ability to run projects with autonomy.
* Experience within the fast-paced commercial fit out sector, delivering multiple projects at once.
* Strong analytically, relationship management, communication and organisational skills.
* Use of Excel and PowerPoint is essential, use of MS Projects is a plus.
* A Degree in a construction related field.
* Professional accreditation or working to towards professional accreditation desirable (RICS, APM, CIOB).
