Job Advertisement: Project Manager – FM Contract Mobilisation

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the mobilisation and embedding of a newly awarded Facilities Management (FM) contract. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless transition, effective service delivery, and strong client relationships. The successful candidate will oversee a team of remotely based engineers, manage subcontractors, and ensure all commercial and operational aspects of the contract are successfully implemented.

Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (with flexibility as needed)

PAYE Rate: £37 - £41 per hour (Umbrella).

Start Date: ASAP.

Duration: 3 month initial contract

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the primary point of contact, ensuring strong client relationships and contract compliance    .
  • Oversee and manage a team of remotely based engineers, ensuring high performance and service excellence.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules, covering both statutory and non-statutory activities, as well as reactive maintenance call-outs.
  • Oversee the procurement, coordination, and performance management of subcontractors, ensuring financial efficiency and service quality.
  • Ensure the contract is embedded successfully, aligning all processes with health, safety, and industry regulations.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure accurate financial, operational, and progress reporting throughout the contract mobilisation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience at a senior management level in the Facilities Management (FM) industry.
  • Strong experience in Hard FM services, including planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Rail sector experience is desirable but not essential.
  • RICS, Engineering qualification, degree qualified or equivalent
