Job Description: Senior Project ManagerMEP

The Role:
The Senior Project Manager will deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality projects that exceed client expectations for schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-construction support, managing interfaces with the client, designers, and third parties.
  • Oversee all aspects of assigned projects to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, from site management to client representatives.
  • Coordinate inputs and outputs across departments including Health & Safety, Quality, Commercial, Planning, Engineering, and more.
  • Maintain high personal and team standards for health, safety, environment, and sustainability.
  • Drive quality through effective planning and right-first-time delivery. Lead, supervise, and mentor the project team.
  • Review engineering drawings, capture and address comments.
  • Manage project finances, schedules, and cost control systems.
  • Ensure proper processes are in place for method statements, risk assessments, and payment records.
  • Appoint qualified site staff and facilitate effective team communication.
  • Identify and report on project risks, opportunities, and future work potential.
  • Collaborate with support departments to maximise project support and knowledge sharing.
  • Support team members in achieving their performance and development goals.
  • Stay current on industry progress and developments.
  • Work closely with project managers, agents, engineers, and supervisors to efficiently manage labour and equipment.

Desirable Skills:

  • Significant MEP technology expertise and previous experience
  • Critical areas experience
  • Construction site experience, especially in MEP and utilities
  • Experience working in an international organization
  • Complex project management experience as a Main Contractor
  • Stakeholder management expertise
  • Membership in a MEP institution or equivalent
