Handle Recruitment are proud to be working with the leading International Festival of Creativity to recruit a team of Award Coordinators for the run up to the 2025 festival. The festival is widely regarded as the Oscars of the advertising, brand marketing and creative communications world so it is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking to gain invaluable experience within the creative, advertising and event industries!
*This is temporary position to start 7th April and planned to end Mid-June, full-time hours, pay rate £15ph, hybrid working Central London*
Each year, the festival receives over 40,000 entries from 90 countries around the globe that are then passed over to juries for the judging process to begin. You will be part of a dedicated Awards team, providing support in the London office as well as the opportunity to work on site for the lead-up of the festival in Cannes, France in June.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Checking the work of entry processors and signing off complete submissions in preparation for judging
- Entry processing and dealing with customer queries when necessary
- Meticulous quality control of entries prior to on-site judging. Preparing entry materials, analysis and calculation of entry data for production of preparatory judging schedules
- Managing the pre judging stage for entries before onsite judging commences
- Administration for and supervision of juries, presentation of the entries to the jury and providing direct support to the appointed jury president and jurors
- Manage jury discussion and awarding of prizes on site or over video
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Initiative and self-motivation, accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Gmail, Google Drive and all of its applications
- Excellent communication skills - ability to compose professional and articulate emails, with a confident and helpful telephone manner
- Ability to take direction working within a team and confidence to take on a leadership role when required - experience in running a small team is highly preferable.
- Able to multitask and prioritise workload accordingly, with flexibility and capacity to undertake varied ad hoc tasks
- Availability to join a temporary position in April with full commitment through to June, must be able to travel to France in June
- An active interest or experience/education across creative industries is preferable
