Assistant Property Manager

My client, a private family office, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to oversee their residential portfolio for their family trust investment company. This role is perfect for someone with a keen interest in property and looking to advance into Property Management or Asset Management.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements.
    • Ensure timely payments from tenants and collections.
    • Schedule and monitor expenditures.
    • Manage invoice processing and payments.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Tenant/Resident Relations:
    • Welcome new tenants, manage check-ins and check-outs.
    • Investigate and resolve resident complaints and enforce occupancy policies.
    • Maintain timely and effective communications with residents and tenants.
  • Maintenance and Operations:
    • Oversee and coordinate maintenance and repairs, ensuring cost-effectiveness and implementing preventative measures.
    • Maintain strong relationships with contractors, monitoring timelines and progress.
    • Ensure compliance with security and health regulations.
    • Conduct incoming and outgoing inspections and prepare detailed reports.
    • Provide ad hoc services for family members as needed.
