Property Portfolio Manager

Role Overview:

My client is seeking a Property Portfolio Manager in either London or Bristol.

This is a great opportunity for a property manager in the hospitality/leisure space.

  • Primary Responsibilities:
    • Property Management Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive property management strategy within the first 100 days
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, operations, legal) and external consultants/service providers.
    • Lease and Tenancy Management: Oversee management of leases, tenancies, and other occupational agreements, including negotiations and coordination with landlords and internal teams.
    • Insurance Management: Work with the procurement lead to manage insurance procurement and relationships, covering various risks including property, business interruption, and liability.
    • Business Rates Management: Handle business rates, including appeals and compliance, for UK and international properties where applicable.
    • Legal Collaboration: Collaborate with legal teams on drafting, reviewing, and managing leases and other agreements.
    • Document Management: Ensure all property-related documents are maintained and updated in a property database.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Over 5 years in property management, preferably in multi-site consumer businesses such as hospitality, leisure, or retail.
  • Experience in both UK and EU markets is strongly preferred.
  • RICS qualification.
