Social Media & Internal Communications Executive

Liverpool Street, London - £24,000 + Quarterly Bonus

The Role

Hamilton Barnes is looking for a Social Media and Internal Communications Executive to join our Marketing team. This is a fast-paced role, providing autonomy and creativity as you manage and drive engagement across social media platforms, while also supporting the internal culture and operational needs of our London office.

This role will focus on internal marketing initiatives, office culture, and operational support, creating a vibrant environment for our internal team, while driving engagement on our social media platforms. Key responsibilities include:

Social Media

  • Manage Hamilton Barnes’ social media channels, including TikTok, Instagram, X, and Facebook to grow our network and engagement.
  • Measure social media analytics, web traffic metrics, and keyword trends to optimise reach and impact.
  • Produce and edit picture and video content; collaborate with internal teams to promote Hamilton Barnes.
  • Drive strategic ideas to optimise social media channels, setting goals for campaigns, measuring ROI, and bringing fresh ideas to help us stay ahead of trends.
  • Work with the internal recruitment team on personal branding and internal initiatives, providing creative support and engaging content.

Operations

  • Play a key role in creating a welcoming, organised office environment by keeping all recruitment resources stocked and conducting walk-throughs to ensure the workspace looks sharp and ready for success.
  • Be the champion of communal spaces - ensure they’re spotless and the team always has everything they need to stay fuelled and inspired.
  • Take charge of keeping the workspace fresh by assisting on delivery days, coordinating with reception and external teams.
  • Support our Operations Director in tasks that may need assistance.

Events

  • Organise and execute team-building events throughout the year, fostering a positive culture.
  • Lead office decorating efforts for holidays and special occasions to boost team morale.
  • Update and manage the Global PR calendar, keeping teams informed about key communications and activities, coordinating with internal teams to ensure alignment of prioritise and goals.

Internal Marketing & Communications

  • Oversee the Hamilton Barnes Hub for internal updates and team communications.
  • Promote internal events and activities to maintain an energetic, connected office.
  • Act as a clear, creative, and persuasive communicator, engaging both internal and external stakeholders through clear and concise messaging.

Skills

  • Content creation experience and/or degree in relevant field
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in public speaking
  • A strong initiative with the ability to drive creative ideas
  • Avid and passionate social media user
  • Up to date and aware of current social media trends, specifically on TikTok
  • Strong English skills (written and verbal)

Progression

  • As the business grows, you will grow with us! We envisage you becoming the Social Media and Communications Manager in the next 2-3 years.
