- Support the business and its press and PR function
- Positive and negative media handling
- Building strong relationships with local, national and trade media
- Promote company visions through press releases and responding to topics
- Build strong stakeholder relationships
- Be creative in the communication delivery through research, writing and editorial
- Contribute content to web, social and other channels
- Produce and edit communications
- Track and evaluate works and ensure reporting is complete
- Drive value in all campaigns and stay in line with company voice and brand
- Experience within social housing or similar would be advantageous
- Degree educated in marketing or similar is desirable
- You should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a communications environment
- The ability to write and edit for a range of audiences
- Competent in responding to press enquiries
- Experienced in creating email and SMS campaigns
- Content management system experience
- Able to work independently and to strict deadlines
- £20 per hour umbrella
- 3-month contract – potential for extension
- Can work on a hybrid basis from a London, Surrey or Kent office
