Our client is seeking a skilled Internal Communications Officer to join their team on a temporary basis for four to six months. This role aims to enhance internal engagement among approximately 10,000 staff members, fostering a dynamic and informed workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a high-quality internal communications service across all organisational sites.
- Implement and oversee innovative communication strategies, ensuring measurable two-way dialogue between staff and management.
- Collaborate closely with various teams to design and execute effective campaigns that resonate with employees.
- Manage content for internal channels including intranet, newsletters, and digital communication platforms.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in internal communications, with a background in public sector communications-ideal for those who have managed communications for large organisations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in writing and copywriting, particularly for digital platforms.
- Ability to plan and evaluate communication efforts effectively, building strong relationships with staff at all levels.
- Excellent multitasking, organisational settings, and an unwavering commitment to delivering results within agreed timelines.
The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, a commitment to diversity, and will be willing to learn new tools and technologies. Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend work is also required.
Working Conditions:
The role requires being in the office at least three days a week, with potential remote working for the remaining days. The position is designed for individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about driving impactful internal communications.
