Press Officer - Marketing Specialist
9 month PAYE - London (4 days in the City Centre offices between Monday to Thursday, WFH Friday)
FPSG are supporting our established global client with an exciting opportunity for a Press Officer Marketing Specialist on a 9-month temp role, based in London
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established Research Media team covering EMEA areas, building relationships with the press.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Organisation of press interviews, press seminars, television interviews and other media events in the UK
- Creation and distribution of daily research reports and weekly communications highlights
- Coordinate activity reports for senior management
- Support marketing colleagues to ensure PR and marketing strategies are aligned
- Work with PR consultants across EMEA when organising media events in their markets
- Coordinate media training
You will have the following skills:
- Previous experience in media relations in a similar role either within an organisation or at an agency along with an interest in the financial services industry
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written with solid attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage their own workload, set priorities and multi-task with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with social media, video and digital content production in a corporate environment is desirable
