Role: Senior Technical Coordinator
Salary: 60-65k, negotiable
Location: London, Fulham
Job Type: Permanent, asap start or can be pushed to early January 2025
About the Role
Main Developer clients are after a Senior Technical Coordinator to join their UK Construction Team.
You will be someone with at least 4-5 years experience in the industry, and experience as a Technical Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience with RC frames and high rise residential projects.
Responsibilities:
- Will be responsible for the technical role on various sized projects, and sometimes multiple projects at the same time.
- Quality management
- Assist and report to the Technical Manager on project
- Produce design reports to help monitor progress
- Take part in site meetings, and chair design meetings
- Promote and maintain professional relations with the client, consultants, adjoining owners, residents, subcontractors, and representatives from statutory authorities
- Ability to prioritize, negotiate, motivate, and communicate in order to ensure that the required objectives are met
- Review and critique drawing information continuously throughout the project
Qualifications And Skills:
- Relevant Degree or diploma in industry related field, or working towards a degree.
- Must have experience working for developers, ideally high rise residential mixed use schemes
- Experience of assisting with coordinating and managing the design team
- Enthusiastic about construction, and driven are key attributes
