About the Role

As the Procurement Category Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end procurement process for merchandising POS across the North Europe market. This includes tender management, supplier sourcing, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with global suppliers to identify opportunities for cost savings, innovation, and efficiency, while ensuring compliance with quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Procurement: Oversee the full procurement lifecycle, from identifying needs to negotiating contracts, onboarding suppliers, and ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Supplier Management: Source new suppliers, evaluate and onboard them to the Preferred Supplier List (PSL), and foster long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Tender Management: Run tenders to secure the best possible terms and outcomes for POS maintenance and installation services.
  • Risk Assessment: Proactively identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Present procurement strategies and outcomes to key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Market Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, identify new opportunities, and bring innovative solutions to the table.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and measure supplier performance.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience: Minimum 3 - 5 year's experience in procurement, within the FMCG sector or related industries.
  • Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge in managing global suppliers, tender processes, and POS solutions.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in data analysis and financial modeling to support decision-making.
  • Ambition: Driven by a hunger for growth and progression, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and presentation skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel within the North Europe market as required.
