Role Description:
A longstanding client of ours, a premium commercial cleaning and facilities management solution provider, is looking to appoint a Key Account Director to manage and develop relationships with high-profile clients, ensuring outstanding service delivery, retention and business growth. The successful Key Account Director will be an exceptional leader with strong commercial acumen, excellent client management skills and in-depth knowledge of facilities management and commercial cleaning services. Responsibilities:

Take full ownership of a portfolio of high-value key accounts, ensuring strong, long-lasting client relationships

Develop and implement client-specific strategies to enhance service delivery, satisfaction and contract retention

Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, providing expert advice and tailored solutions

Conduct regular client meetings, service reviews and performance evaluations to ensure service excellence

Monitor and manage KPIs and SLAs, ensuring all contractual obligations are met or exceeded

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, sustainability policies and industry best practices

Collaborate with the sales and business development teams to support new business opportunities and tenders

Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity and industry innovations to maintain competitive edge

Drive a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement within the account management function
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Key Account Director, Senior Account Manager or Client Relationship Director in the commercial cleaning or facilities management sector

A strong track record in client retention, contract management and service excellence

Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to drive revenue growth and account profitability

Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation and presentation skills

A solutions-oriented mindset, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and service delivery
