Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Quality Manager to join their business.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Oversee the team to ensure the effective delivery of the quality management system and site HACCP, including the internal audit plan, to comply with customer, manufacturing unit, legislative, divisional, and strategic standards.
* Manage and maintain the internal microbiological, nutritional, and chemical testing schedules.
* Provide necessary information and demonstrate operational practices to support external audits and meet customer requirements.
* Enhance the capabilities of the QA team through the Technical Strategy, building production capability and understanding to meet technical standards.
* Track site KPIs and adjust team activities to ensure targets are met.
* Investigate key deviations from processes and customer specifications, implementing corrective actions to maintain control.
* Implement and challenge corrective actions derived from monthly KPI meetings, customer audits, scorecard meetings, and feedback from other site learnings.
* Plan and manage resource utilization to meet QMS, hygiene, and group requirements.
* Lead and deliver projects aimed at enhancing business effectiveness and cost efficiency.
* Act as the primary contact for customers during site visits, audits, business reviews, and other key opportunities.
* Manage the Quality Assessment Panels and the planning of corrective actions resulting from these panels.

About you:
* Food manufacturing experience in a similar role is required
