Your Next Job – What You’ll Be Doing
As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include:

Cost Management: Assist in managing costs, valuations, and variations for refurbishment and aftercare projects.
Procurement Support: Aid in procurement processes, cost reporting, and financial forecasting.
Subcontractor Coordination: Monitor and manage subcontractor accounts, payments, and contract administration.
Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
Client Engagement: Engage with clients to address remedial works and ensure commercial viability.
Risk Management: Contribute to financial reporting and assist in risk management.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A degree (or working towards one) in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in a similar role within construction or refurbishment.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with an eye for detail.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
