Junior Quantity Surveyor
Location: London (Office & Site-Based)
Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established structural steel company based in London. This role offers the chance to work on a range of exciting projects, supporting senior QSs and project teams in ensuring commercial success.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration for structural steel projects.
- Prepare and review valuations, variations, and final accounts.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure financial control and cost management.
- Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain strong commercial relationships.
- Conduct site visits to assess work progress and ensure alignment with financial reports.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to project costs.
- A minimum of three year's experience in Quantity Surveying within the civils or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of structural steel projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to travel to sites and the office as required.
- Proficiency in cost management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
