An established multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong presence across the UK is seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their London office. With three offices nationwide, they specialise in various sectors, including healthcare and commercial fit-outs, and focus on providing tailored solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
Quantity Surveyor Role
The Quantity Surveyor will cover mainly healthcare and commercial fit-out schemes, performing both pre and post-contract duties. You will lead projects with support from a director, collaborating closely with team members to ensure successful delivery.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing project budgets and forecasts
- Preparing tender and contract documentation
- Conducting cost reporting and value engineering
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders
- Assisting in procurement strategies
- Ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards
The Quantity Surveyor Requirements
- BSc/MSc Quantity Surveying or RICS accredited degree
- MRICS or currently working towards this qualification
- Experience within a private practice or consultancy
- Basic pre and post-contract knowledge
