QUANTITY SURVEYOR | NORTH LONDON | CONSTRUCTION MAIN CONTRACTOR

A growing construction main contractor are seeking an experience Quantity Surveyor to join their company. The Quantity Surveyor will be office based in North London with genuine progression in a business that is really going places. The Quantity Surveyor will report into the Commercial Manager and will be the lead Quantity Surveyor for the business. The Quantity Surveyor will oversee multiple JCT contract projects up to 5m. genuine progression in a nice working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labour, and overheads.
  • Conduct feasibility studies to assess the viability of projects from a financial perspective.
  • Monitor project expenses and implement cost control measures to ensure adherence to budgets.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost assessments.
  • Prepare tender documents and assist in the procurement process by evaluating bids and negotiating contracts.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all financial transactions related to projects.
  • Provide regular reports on project financial status, highlighting any discrepancies or potential issues.
  • Assist in the preparation of final accounts and settlement of contracts upon project completion.

Ideally a Quantity Surveyor will 4+ years experience with the relevant qualfications within the industry, experience in JCT contracts and overseeing multiple smaller projects.
