Role Responsibilities:
- NEC3 Contract management and administration upstream and downstream
- Establish and manage entitlement, with focus on maximising entitlement under the contract
- Investigate and draft contract communications and notices including Early Warning Notices, notification of Compensation Events, General Communications
- Liaison and negotiation with the Client's Commercial and/or project team
- Establishing and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure appropriate commercial records are maintained in line with the contract requirements and oversee any contractual issues
- Provide contractual and commercial risk advice to the Commercial team and wider Technical and Construction Delivery teams
- Contribute to project financial monitoring and reporting
- Administration of subcontractor and supplier contracts including EWNs, change, payments, forecasts and through to final account
- The quantity surveyor will lead the review and valuation of subcontractor applications for payment in accordance with contractual terms and conditions and contractual entitlement
- Manage, monitor and report on commercial and cost reporting aspects of allocated projects and portfolio of works including CVRs and cost control
- Support the programme and project teams to ensure full compliance with contract and corporate governance rules
Qualifications and must-haves for candidates
- Site presence and co-location minimum 3 days a week

- You must have the right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Educated to degree level
- MEP experience
- Main contractor and/or joint venture experience
- An experienced user of the NEC3-4 suite of contracts (A-C-E must have)
- Experienced in controlling costs for self delivery works
- Exposure to negotiating and procuring sub-contract packages (Design-Delivery-Commission), testing the robustness of costs and value for money.
- Able to prioritise the delivery of the objectives of their role
- Good communication skills
