Description
- Manage and plan all costs associated with construction projects, from conception to completion.
- Conduct cost analysis and draw up detailed financial reports.
- Negotiate contracts and tenders to ensure maximum value for money.
- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, making sure all costs stay within budget.
- Collaborate with project managers and other construction professionals.
- Value completed work and ensure timely payments.
- Minimise the costs of a project while enhancing value for money, without compromising quality.
- Comply with health and safety regulations within the construction industry.
Profile
A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
- A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Ideally RICs qualified
- Strong knowledge of the construction industry and its legal regulations.
- Excellent numerical and financial management skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Good organisational and problem-solving abilities.
