About the role of Quantity Surveyor:
Exciting opportunity for a project quantity surveyor who specialises in sub-contracting works to join one of the biggest and most reputable subbies in London to oversee multiple projects with values of up to 2 million. The business specialises in flooring, underfloor heating, screeds, carpets, timber and tiling but doesn't necessarily need someone experienced in all these areas. This will be based out of their central London office, where the entire commercial team is located, as all the sites are inside the M25.
Responsibilities for Quantity Surveyor:
- Managing Packages.
- Site Meetings.
- Overseeing 4-10 projects at a time.
- Weekly reports into both the commercial and managing directors.
Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:
- Main or sub-contractor background.
- Experience at a flooring business idea but not essential.
- All necessary construction-based qualifications.
- Good communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
