** SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR - INSIDE IR35 - WATER/UTILITIES EXPERIENCE **

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the water and utilities sector to join a leading contractor delivering a high-profile £20m project across North London. This opportunity is for a professional ideally with experience working on AMP7 frameworks, who thrives in managing the commercial aspects of complex infrastructure projects.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of water utility projects, overseeing cost management, and working with clients and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget. The role will involve working across multiple sites in North London, providing a variety of challenges and opportunities for professional growth.

• Change Management
• Compensation Events Quotation/Project Management Assessment Negotiations
• Subcontractor Procurement
• Subcontractor Management
• Monthly CVR's
• Management of a Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with a focus on water/utilities packages
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage project costs and maximise profits
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Experience in managing and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors.
