We're on the lookout for a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage all commercial aspects of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, in the property industry

Description

  • Manage all costings from initial calculations to the final figures.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure contracts are fulfilled to a high standard.
  • Minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money, while achieving the required standards and quality.
  • Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and disputes.
  • Perform risk, value management and cost control exercises.
  • Allocate work to subcontractors and oversee their work.
  • Prepare and analyse project costings for tenders.

Profile

A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:

  • An accredited degree in Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and procedures.
  • Proficiency in cost-analysis software.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in managing commercial aspects of construction projects.
  • An aptitude for numbers and problem-solving.
