A leading civil engineering contractor are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in London. You will be working on a very exciting project with leading clients in this field and working within an established team of quantity surveying professionals.
Responsibilities of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Procurement of materials
- Managing and pricing change
- Managing subcontractors / labour
- Raising early warnings and managing change events
- Completing cost variation reports
- Getting involved with client and stakeholder liaison
Requirements of the Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Background working for a civil engineering contractor.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead in a high pressure environment.
- Proven experience within the utilities/civils sector.
- Understanding of NEC forms of contract
- Degree qualified
- Professionally qualified - ideal.
