4Site are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a high-end residential main contractor based in South West London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business with an excellent reputation for delivering luxury residential refurbishments and new builds across prime London postcodes. The Role:

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take full commercial responsibility for a number of high-end residential projects, typically ranging from £2m–£10m in value. You’ll oversee and mentor two mid-level Quantity Surveyors and report directly to the Director.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all quantity surveying duties across multiple live projects

  • Contract administration and strong working knowledge of JCT contracts

  • Cost planning, procurement, tendering, and subcontractor management

  • Attending progress and commercial meetings with the Director and site teams

  • Monitoring budgets, valuations, variations, and final accounts

  • Managing and supporting junior QS staff and helping develop their careers

Requirements:
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor

  • Background in high-end residential construction essential

  • Proven experience managing multiple projects and mentoring junior QS staff

  • Strong knowledge of JCT forms of contract and contract administration

  • Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
