About the position

A senior quantity surveyor is needed, the opportunity is within a commercial team to deliver a number of blue chip fit out projects for London's landmark  buildings. This team is a  key  part  of a well-established boutique consultancy; this partnership  offers  Cost and Project Management  services through  a variety of sectors.  The business is well established, privately owned, and the directors are open, supportive and brilliant at rewarding and recognising hard work.  They  offer  full  support  for  their  staff,  whether  it  be  in professional development, cpd or a flexible working environment.

The  team  that  this  vacancy  is  within is small, personal and highly functioning and  purely  focuses  on  the  commercial sector, with all work typically in the west end, mid town, city or canary wharf. All the work is blue chip,  and  ranges  from  £100,000  through  to  £18 million  as  a  typical  range  but  project values can go higher. Types of projects include fit outs and refurbishment's either Cat A, A+ or B, or both, cut and carves.

About you

The  workload  demands  an  experienced  quantity  surveyor/ cost manager, you will come from a consultancy or client background, have a  good  grasp  of  the commercial  sector  and  particularly  fast  track  fit  out.  It is essential that you want to be in a client facing role and you want to take ownership of a project, as well as clients. As a senior quantity surveyor, you will be given responsibility to work with business' clients, strengthening relationships and looking after stakeolders on projects. On top of this you will be given the support and time to start developing relationships of your own, enabling you to bring in own fees that will contribute to a bonus and route to directorship. You will have a degree or masters in quantity surveying or cost management and ideally be chartered with the RICS.

In return you will be given full support to deliver a quality service to the business's clients, an excellent compensation package and the opportunity to progress as far as your desires take you. If you are part way through your apc full support and training will be given.
