About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a growing but established Central London based main contractor to work as the commercial lead on major projects with valuations north of 70 million. The business offers structured internal growth and a clear path for progression at all levels, and Seniors will have an active role in picking what projects are taken on as there is a clear focus on delivering quality rather than chasing turnover.
Responsibilities for Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Working from the PCSA/2 Stage tender process, to delivering the site and working through to completion and final accounts.
- Managing Packages.
- Overseeing a team of 5 Surveyors and Assistants.
- Managing Sub-Contractors.
- Site Meetings.
Requirements for Senior Quantity Surveyor:
- Experience as commercial lead on projects valued over 70 million.
- Previously managed a team of Surveyors and Assistants.
- Experience with 2-Stage procurement, change management and CAT B fit-out.
- Construction related degree.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
