** SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR - OUTSIDE IR35 - HIGHWAYS EXPERIENCE **

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in the Highways sector to join a tier 1 contractor delivering a Highways maintenance framework. This opportunity is for a professional ideally with experience working for a Tier 1 contractor and has worked in highways maintenance, who thrives in managing the commercial aspects of complex infrastructure projects.

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in overseeing cost management, and working with clients and contractors to deliver projects on time and within budget. The role will involve working on site which is London based, providing a variety of challenges and opportunities for professional growth.

  • Change Management
  • Compensation Events Quotation/Project Management Assessment Negotiations
  • Subcontractor Procurement
  • Subcontractor Management
  • Monthly CVR's
  • Management of a Quantity Surveyor

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with a focus on highways packages
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage project costs and maximise profits
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of Quantity Surveyors.
