A well established over 50 years reputable construction company delivering high-quality projects across various sectors. Due to continued growth, we’re looking for a Trainee / Assistant Estimator to join our team and support their estimating function. Projects range from £100k to £5 million

The Role

As a Trainee / Assistant Estimator, you will:

  • Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for projects
  • Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documents
  • Support the pricing of Bills of Quantities
  • Manage and send out enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors
  • Work closely with the estimating team to ensure competitive pricing

Who They’re Looking For

  • 2-3 years of experience in estimating in the construction industry
  • Exposure to Bills of Quantities and handling enquiries
  • Completed or currently studying for (or planning to start) a degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skill
  • A keen eye for detail and a proactive approach
