Do you have a good knowledge of Europe and putting together tailor-made holidays by rail?

We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-established tour operator (based in Central London) who specialise in rail holidays in Europe.

This company are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a hands-on approach to join their friendly team. You will be responsible for handling incoming enquiries by phone and email and constructing bespoke rail itineraries.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking rail enquiries from direct customers and travel agents
  • Quoting and booking group and individual rail travel in Europe using various in-house systems
  • Managing new and existing accounts; series and adhoc groups, tailor-made or repeat tours
  • Operating and invoicing FIT and group travel, including dealing with pre and post departure queries
  • Liaising with key suppliers to ensure the accuracy of travel arrangements
  • Maintain excellent levels of after-sales service, including in-trip queries or issues

Skills Required:

  • Experience booking rail travel in Europe
  • Proven experience of preparing quotes and operating groups.
  • The ability to speak a second European language is highly desirable but not essential
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Package

  • A competitive basic salary of 28,000 - 29,000 + bonus
  • Monday - Friday: 9am - 6pm
  • Hybrid working
