Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage quantity surveying and cost consultancy activities, both pre- and post-contract
- Develop and deliver cost estimates, cost plans, and financial reports
- Oversee the tendering process, analyze bids, and provide procurement advice
- Attend client meetings, monitor project status, and ensure financial control from design through completion
- Manage post-contract responsibilities, including assessing variations and negotiating final accounts
- Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and project success
- Mentor and manage junior team members to support the effective delivery of cost management services.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in quantity surveying or equivalent
- MRICS accredited
- Experience working on high-value, complex projects in a consultancy environment
- Experience in mixed-use, workplace, retail, or commercial sectors is preferred
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD, and CostX
