Dove & Hawk have exclusively partnered with a Central London property consultancy that are looking for a bilingual (Italian & English) Head of Property Management & Lettings to provide oversight of the team based in their Earls Court office. This role would suit an someone who has previously overseen a team of Property Managers who is looking for the chance to implement structure, organisation and management processes across a growing business.Duties/Functions of the role:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of service delivery, maintaining strong relationships with landlords, tenants, and service providers, and ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Taking responsibility for supervising insurance claims, complaints, legal matters, and contractor management.
  • Coordinating HR functions for lettings and management teams, including scheduling, overtime, holidays, and managing sickness absence.
  • Ensuring compliance with all property management legislation and industry best practices, including health and safety regulations, building codes, and tenancy agreements.
  • Assisting with the development of long-term strategies for property management, including identifying opportunities for growth and improvements in service delivery.
  • Preparing and presenting regular reports on the performance of the property portfolio, highlighting successes, challenges, and areas for improvement.

Requirements of the role:

  • Fluent in both English and Italian, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients, tenants, and contractors in both languages.
  • Proven experience in residential property management, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Previous experience managing and leading a team of property managers is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of UK residential property law, including tenancy agreements, deposit protection, maintenance regulations, and insurance procedures.
  • ARLA Propertymark qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.
