Lettings Branch Manager - Walthamstow

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lettings Branch Manager in Walthamstow to join a growing team in a dynamic and thriving office.

The Package:
  • Basic Salary: £20,000 - £32,000 (depending on experience)
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): £60,000+ in your first year
  • Retainer for first 3 months while building your pipeline

A Day in the Life of a Lettings Branch Manager:
  • Lead Daily Meetings: Motivate and direct the team to achieve KPI's.
  • Coach & Develop Your Team: Provide support and guidance for staff development.
  • Monitor & Assess Team Performance: Conduct one-to-one meetings and performance reviews.
  • Drive Business Growth: Strong focus on generating new and repeat business.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with landlords and tenants.
  • Viewings & Negotiations: Liaise with tenants to arrange viewings and negotiate offers on new tenancies.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all regulatory bodies' standards, minimizing risk to the business.
Essential Skills & Experience:
  • Full UK Driving License (for a manual vehicle).
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience within residential lettings, ideally at a Senior Negotiator level or higher.
  • Team Player: Ability to foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Proven ability to create trusting relationships with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Business Planning: Ability to develop and execute business plans relevant to the branch.
  • Market Awareness: Monitor and assess performance against local competitors.
  • Strong Knowledge of Legislation: Understanding of current residential lettings legislation.
  • Time Management Skills: Ability to manage high-volume workloads effectively.
  • Customer Service Excellence: A reputation for outstanding customer service.
  • Self-Motivation & Initiative: Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
  • Good Telephone Manner and Strong IT Skills (proficiency in basic Microsoft packages).
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all tasks.
