The Lettings Manager will be responsible for the operational performance within their allocated branch based in Southeast London. Leading the overall lettings strategy and team.The successful candidate must be highly motivated with a proven track record at a senior level, dynamic, organised, good people skills, articulate, ambitious, and focused on driving growth in the Letting industry and having entrepreneurial flair and passion to succeed within this thriving company.Responsibilities will include:
  • Leading, driving, optimising and developing the Lettings Department
  • Maximising and optimising the rental portfolio
  • Developing and nurturing relationships with new and existing landlords
  • Actively seeking & signing up new landlords and properties
  • Generating and conducting market appraisals.
  • Winning instructions & closing deals.
  • Strong focus on generating new and repeat business.
  • Managing a team, regular team meetings, holiday approval, reporting for payroll etc.
  • Overseeing the processing of tenant applications and reference checks
  • Reporting to the directors on a Weekly/Monthly basis.
  • Ensuring service levels and positive reviews are maintained and CRM data reporting systems upheld.
  • Reviewing outgoings & budget cost analysis.
  • Monitoring and promoting online staff reviews.
  • Harnessing innovation and new business service provisions.
Experience & Skills:
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team and people management expertise
  • Desire to succeed and grow within the business
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ambitious, dynamic and motivated to get the job done to the highest Standard
  • Previous experience in similar role, either working as a Senior Lettings Negotiator or Lettings Manager
  • Thorough understanding of Lettings
  • ARLA qualified (preferable)
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills
