About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Portfolio Manager to join our expanding Portfolio Management Team, managing a large and diverse portfolio for a high-profile government client. This dynamic role combines operational property management expertise with strategic client engagement to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Management: Ensure cost-effective operations and uninterrupted use of client premises.
  • Client Liaison: Act as a key intermediary among landlords, tenants, and third parties.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Identify and implement cost-saving measures for corporate occupiers.
  • Income Management: Oversee income collection and maintain tenant relationships for sublet properties.
  • Exit Strategies: Develop strategies for leasehold and freehold property exits.
  • Strategic Advice: Provide guidance on lease events, compliance, and statutory requirements.
  • Collaboration: Work with internal teams and external professionals for a seamless client experience.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain regular and proactive communication with clients.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Degree in Estate Management or equivalent.
  • RICS membership is a plus but not essential.
  • At least 2 years of commercial property experience.
  • Strong understanding of property management legislation.
  • Experience with industry software (e.g., TRAMPS/PM&A) preferred.
