We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy student residence. This role involves ensuring a safe, high-quality living environment for residents while managing staff, maintenance, budgeting, and compliance with housing standards. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle administrative and operational tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily management and inspection of the property to ensure high standards are met.
  • Conduct thorough inspections at the end of contracts and charge for any damages as appropriate.
  • Coordinate all aspects of property preparation for student move-ins, including cleaning, maintenance, and inventories.
  • Update marketing channels and websites with current rates, contract terms, and availability.
  • Execute a marketing plan to meet occupancy targets, aiming for 100% occupancy.
  • Organize community-building events for residents to enhance satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide excellent customer service, resolving resident inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Foster a welcoming and supportive environment for residents and address student welfare issues as needed.
  • Perform monthly Health & Safety inspections of all residential units and communal areas.
  • Manage budgets, process invoices, and collect rent and other fees.
  • Prepare and present quarterly financial reports
  • Build positive relationships with universities, local agencies, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain effective communication channels to promote the property to prospective residents.

We are looking for someone who has experience in property or residence management, including maintenance oversight and community engagement. You must have experience of delivering a high performance customer centric culture.

You should have

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, managing competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
