Property Manager

North East London

£30,000 - £40,000 a year

Invigorate Recruitment is working with its client in London, Newington Green to recruit an experienced Property Manager or Senior Property Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who thrives in a team environment and has strong knowledge of property management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring compliance, handling maintenance issues, and providing excellent service to landlords and tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of residential properties, ensuring all aspects of property management are handled efficiently.
  • Coordinating repairs and maintenance, liaising with contractors, and ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
  • Conducting regular property inspections and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Handling tenancy renewals, deposit returns, and resolving disputes where necessary.
  • Responding promptly to landlord and tenant queries, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Ensuring all properties comply with relevant legislation, including gas safety, EPCs, and licensing requirements.
  • Managing arrears and ensuring rent is collected on time.
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating property management systems.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in property management, ideally in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK property laws and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and manage a busy workload efficiently.
  • A proactive and professional approach to property management.
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car (essential).
