PURPOSE OF ROLE 

My client, a dynamic and innovative MGA, is seeking a Property Owners Underwriter to join their expanding team. In this role you will underwrite property owners' insurance risks and assess and manage policies for a diverse range of clients. You will work closely with brokers and clients to develop tailored insurance solutions, ensuring optimal coverage while maintaining profitability and adherence to underwriting guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Assessing risks and underwriting property owner policies
• Ensuring compliance with company guidelines
• Collaborating with estate agents, property managers, and landlords on various landlord/tenant matters
• Handling customer service inquiries

EXPERIENCE 

• Landlord/Property Owners Experience
• Extensive experience in underwriting property owners' insurance policies
• Proven expertise in delivering high-quality customer service
• Solid understanding of lettings processes and landlord/tenant dynamics
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal capabilities
• Strong attention to detail and adept at analytical thinking

DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Underwriting and evaluating property owner insurance policies with precision
• Engaging with estate agents, property managers, and landlords to provide tailored insurance solutions
• Managing customer service inquiries promptly and professionally
• Experience
• Demonstrated experience in underwriting property owners' insurance policies
• Strong familiarity with lettings, landlord, and tenant issues
