Overview:

We seek a highly organised and efficient individual to join our dynamic team in London as an Assistant Property. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our residential properties, delivering exceptional service to tenants and residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Property/Block Manager with all aspects of property management, including:
    • Tenant/resident liaison: responding to enquiries, managing repairs and maintenance requests, handling complaints, and enforcing lease agreements.
    • Property maintenance: coordinating building inspections, arranging contractor quotes and scheduling repairs, ensuring common areas are clean and well-maintained.
    • Financial administration: processing invoices, collecting service charges, maintaining accurate records, and preparing financial reports.
    • Lease administration: preparing and issuing new leases, managing renewals, and conducting move-in/move-out inspections.
    • Health and safety: assisting with fire risk assessments, ensuring fire safety equipment is operational, and reporting accidents and incidents.
    • IT systems: maintaining accurate data in property management software, generating reports, and resolving minor IT issues.
  • Liaise with contractors, tradespeople, and other service providers to guarantee timely and high-quality service.
  • Attend resident meetings and take minutes.
  • Maintain a professional and positive demeanour while providing exceptional customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in property management (preferably residential), ideally in London.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
