The Company:

This position requires a professional with a strong background in property or estate management, who is adept at multitasking and possesses excellent problem-solving skills.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Property Maintenance and Upkeep: Manage repairs, oversee renovations, and ensure regular maintenance of buildings, grounds, and infrastructure.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and supervise staff, ensuring smooth operation of the estate.
  • Financial Management: Oversee budgets, manage expenses, and maintain accurate financial records. Experience with SAGE, Excel, and Sassha management systems is preferred.
  • Liaison and Communication: Serve as the primary contact for tenants, partners, vendors, and local authorities.
  • Compliance and Legal Matters: Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, manage property tax, and handle health and safety matters.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong management experience in property, facilities, or estate management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Confident with technology, including cloud-based reporting and security systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
  • Desirable: Level 5 Professional Housing Qualification/CIH Professional Qualification/degree equivalent in housing.
  • Experience in legal proceedings related to tenancy conditions and up-to-date knowledge of housing legislation.
