Our client, a leading set of Chambers (law firm) based in London, near Holborn is looking for an experienced Receptionist to join their team and be the first point of contact for their clients. You will have a passion for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth running of the office.

You must be able to multi-task, have excellent communication skills along with empathy. A friendly personality, but with that up and go/nothing is too much trouble attitude.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • Greet and welcome visitors to Chambers in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
  • Manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
  • Arrange taxis, couriers
  • Setting up AV equipment and laptops in conference rooms for meetings
  • Some PA/Concierge work along with IT and Facilities duties

As a Receptionist you will need:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Intermediate to Advanced Level (Outlook, Excel and Word)
  • Use Zoom and MS Teams
  • Punctual / Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Previous experience in an office environment as a PA, Receptionist or Office Management/Facilities etc.
  • Thrives in a demanding environment and busy role

**You must be available from 07th October 2024** onwards to do a handover with the current receptionist. Ideally starting on the 11th October 2024 for a 6 months Maternity Cover (potentially longer if needed).
