Conference Centre Assistant

Our client, a growing organization located in the heart of the City of London, is seeking a dedicated Conference Centre Assistant to join their expanding team. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation of the conference centre, maintaining a professional environment and delivering exceptional service to both internal and external attendees.

  • Set up all conference rooms with necessary video conferencing equipment promptly.
  • Assist with initiating video conferences as needed.
  • Prepare boardrooms with essential stationery and refreshments, such as glasses, cups, tea, and coffee.
  • Clear and clean meeting rooms after each use.
  • Coordinate with Reception regarding daily meeting requirements.
  • Provide refreshments for meetings based on requests.
  • Assist the chef in arranging and providing lunches for lunch meetings.
  • Deliver food and beverages professionally and discreetly.
  • Maintain kitchen stock, including coffee, tea, milk, fruit, and biscuits.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are fully stocked with necessary stationery.
  • Report maintenance issues (e.g., lighting, air conditioning, carpet stains) to the Administrative Manager.
  • Assist with liaising with suppliers when necessary.
  • Provide ad hoc support for evening events held in the office as required.
