We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional receptionist to join our Pupil Referral Unit in Waltham Forest. This part-time position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, enjoys working in an educational environment, and can manage a busy front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming visitors, staff, and students to the unit.
  • Answering and directing phone calls in a professional manner.
  • Managing and responding to emails.
  • Handling student attendance and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assisting with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and photocopying.
  • Ensuring that all safeguarding procedures are followed when dealing with visitors and students.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a reception or administrative role is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
