About the job:
The primary goal of this position is to provide a welcoming, effective, and professional reception service to maintain a high standard of front-line customer service. This will ensure that clients and visitors have a positive impression of the company as a well-run, welcoming, and professional business with friendly employees.
Responsibilities:
- Taking pride in the appearance of the office, ensuring its cleanliness and tidiness, especially client-facing areas such as the front of house and meeting rooms
- Managing and booking meeting rooms, ensuring all meetings run on time.
- Arranging refreshments for external meetings and organising
- Acting as a first point of contact for all visitors
- Ordering couriers and taxis
- Managing the centralised company email inbox
- Scheduling travel, hotels, and restaurants, as necessary
- Counting in, signing for, and packing away deliveries in the proper place
- Assisting with training new starters
- Making sure the reception team's daily handover procedures are in place.
- Other administrative duties include finishing bills, printing, and binding.
Requirements:
- Educated to the A-Level level.
- A minimum of two years in a comparable position is preferred.
- A solid functional knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook in Microsoft Office.
- Professionally dressed and presented.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
- An articulate, assured, and courteous telephone manner.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of responsibilities and pick up new skills.
- Exceptional planning and time-management abilities.
