About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity at DS Smith for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the DS Smith at their corporate head office in Paddington Square (London) as our Receptionist. This is a fabulous role for the right candidate to be part of a dynamic and lively business function.

This role can be a full-time office-based role working Monday to Friday with the working hours between the hours of 7.30am to 4pm or a part-time role working Wednesday to Friday, 22 hours per week between the hours of 9.30am to 6pm.

As a natural people-person, you will be the first point of contact for our colleagues, visitors, and external customers, assisting with onsite queries and supporting onsite meetings.

Working with the rest of the Reception Team, you will be managing the switchboard, assist with meeting room bookings & queries and general administrative tasks to ensure our colleagues and visitors receive a warm and friendly welcome. In addition to this, you will provide handovers to the cleaning and maintenance team and assist the Workplace Manager with fire drills, first aid requirements and any ad hoc requests.

  • Well organised, able to prioritise workloads
  • Well-presented and friendly manner
  • Must have previous reception experience
  • Trained Fire marshal & appointed first aider or willing to take similar trainings/certificate arranged by the company
