Job Title: Receptionist

Location: Spitalfields, London (closest station - London Liverpool Street)

Remuneration: Hourly rate from £12.50 to £13.00

Contract Details: Temporary contract for 1 week, starting from Monday 30th September and finishing on the Friday 4th October 2024, with a Full-Time working pattern.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional reception services by warmly welcoming and assisting guests, answering inquiries about rooms, toilets, and other facilities.
  • Provide support to the reception downstairs, fielding calls and inquiries, directing guests to the appropriate rooms, and ensuring meeting rooms are set up and ready for use.
  • Manage room bookings, ensuring they are accurately recorded and promptly cancelling any unused rooms.
  • Conduct handovers to demonstrate the process for booking rooms and provide access passes to authorised individuals. Alongside this, check-in visitors and issue passes as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the reception downstairs via switchboard communication to notify them of guest arrivals.
  • Handle drink requests for guests and assist with post management, including collecting and collating mail, and scanning and forwarding legal mail as needed.
  • Prepare payroll documentation for despatch to Birmingham, ensuring it is delivered by the designated time.
  • Maintain excellent attention to detail, especially when opening post that requires scanning.
  • Embrace a lively and professional demeanour to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for all visitors.
