The Client:A leading girls independent day school is looking for a Receptionist to join their team on a permanent basis. It’s a fantastic opportunity to sit on Reception at a friendly and collegiate school, with a number of other pastoral duties that make this perfect for someone who likes the idea of being a key part of the school’s fabric.

***Kindly note, this is a term time only role plus an additional 10 days to be worked across the year.***

The Role:Receptionist duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • To meet and greet all visitors
  • To look after the 1000+ students and staff
  • Being responsible for logging all students attendance, having a role in taking care of anyone who is repeatedly absent
  • To receive post and deliveries
  • To manage the Reception Diary

The successful Receptionist:

  • Reception experience would be advantageous, and a personable manner is essential
  • Pastoral experience is ideal
  • The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable with excellent customer service and communication skills

The Details & Benefits:

  • Hours are 10am-6pm, with an hour for lunch
  • 37 working weeks in the year (i.e. term time only) - lots of holiday time or time for other projects!
